Local planning
Where pickups start. Toronto requests most often begin in Downtown, Entertainment District, Yorkville and Waterfront. Name the building and the entrance. Staging space and approach angle decide the pickup more than the postcode does.
Where we drop. Destinations named for Toronto include Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Scotiabank Arena, Rogers Centre and Exhibition Place. Some have a coach door away from the main entrance. Worth knowing before the group is standing outside.
Dates that fill first. Local calendars around Toronto International Film Festival, Canadian National Exhibition and Toronto Pride concentrate demand into a handful of weekends. Check the current schedule with the organiser — this is not a live calendar.
Itineraries groups ask about. Toronto Pearson airport to downtown Toronto; Union Station to downtown event venues. Stop order and end time matter more than distance. Send both.
What groups pay locally. Canadian pricing shown on Bus 2 Ride is a planning estimate only. Date, duration, route, vehicle, mileage, deadhead, taxes, tolls, parking, demand, and currency affect the reviewed quote. Your written quote is one all-in number for your route, so nothing new turns up at the curb.
Airport groups. Toronto trips connect to YYZ, YTZ. Provide flight numbers, terminal, bag counts, and one group contact; the driver meets at the commercial-vehicle zone, which is usually not the passenger curb.

Scotiabank Arena set the schedule for game-day groups in Toronto: the official start time fixes the arrival window, and the exit crowd fixes the pickup. Ask the venue where commercial vehicles stage, agree on one post-event meeting corner that everyone can find, and give the driver a 30–45 minute cushion after the final whistle rather than a fixed minute.
Toronto International Film Festival and other Toronto events come with street closures and organizer transportation notices; read them before locking a route. Choose a meeting point outside the heaviest foot traffic, set a firm departure deadline for the group, and expect traffic to compress well before the published start time.
Corporate groups using Metro Toronto Convention Centre are usually several movements rather than one headcount: hotel-to-venue transfers in waves, an evening event, and airport runs on different flights. List each movement with its own time and passenger count so the quote reflects the real number of vehicles and hours.
