Local planning
Planning group transportation in Aurora
Where we collect you. Aurora requests most often begin in Downtown Aurora, Fox Valley, New Aurora and Pigeon Hill. Give us a street address or a named lot entrance rather than the neighborhood — drive time and where the bus can actually sit both hang on the exact curb.
Common destinations. Destinations named for Aurora include Paramount Theatre, Hollywood Casino Aurora, RiverEdge Park, Phillips Park and SciTech Hands On Museum. Loading rules vary by venue. Pick a meeting corner up front so nobody is hunting for the bus at the end of the night.
When the calendar tightens. Local calendars around Blues on the Fox, Fox Valley Folk Festival, Downtown Alive! summer series and Aurora Christmas Parade concentrate demand into a handful of weekends. Availability tightens around them, so get the date held rather than shopping it.
Beyond Aurora. Trips that continue into Chicago, Joliet, Naperville or Elgin are quoted as one itinerary; see the Illinois guide.
Parks, beaches, and outdoor destinations near Aurora
RiverEdge Park and Phillips Park: confirm the usable gate, turnaround space, and closing time, count coolers and gear in the request, and keep a weather alternative.
Casino and resort outings from Aurora
Hollywood Casino Aurora: ask the property for the bus drop (often not the main valet), confirm age and ID rules, and set the return time before boarding.
Vehicle fit
Which vehicle fits your Aurora group
Pick by confirmed headcount, then by luggage and trip length. Your contract names the exact vehicle, its seating capacity and what is on board.
| Group size | Usual fit | Why | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6–14 passengers | Stretch limo or Sprinter van | Tight downtown streets, valet-style arrivals, and shorter time blocks. | See limousines |
| 14–24 passengers | Mid-size party bus | The most-requested size on our own sites; standing room, sound, and a restroom-free footprint that fits most venue curbs. | See party buses |
| 24–40 passengers | Large party bus or mini coach | Wedding shuttles, corporate transfers, and big birthday groups that need everyone on one vehicle. | Compare large buses |
| 40+ passengers | Full-size coach bus | Luggage bays, restrooms, and highway comfort for long days, tournaments, and multi-city itineraries. | See coach buses |

Chicago Metro
Aurora in the Chicago Metro
Chicago metro planning ties Loop hotels, North Side nightlife, suburban corporate campuses, and O’Hare/Midway transfers into one region. Winter weather, lakefront events, and expressway incidents all affect buffers. Bus 2 Ride quotes with real itinerary detail — passenger count, stops, and airport timing — then confirms in writing with the signed agreement.
Airports in the metro: ORD · MDW
- Separate downtown hotel loops from suburb-to-stadium runs when you request a quote.
- ORD groups should list terminals and whether Midway is involved for any travelers.
- Bears, Bulls, Cubs, and festival weekends tighten inventory — request earlier.
- Share luggage expectations; airport and wedding loads change vehicle category.
