Editorial Policy and Transportation Data Methodology

Bus 2 Ride may use software and AI to organize research, but automation is not treated as evidence. Public claims must be traceable to an identified source or clearly labeled as planning guidance. Reviewed by Bus 2 Ride Editorial Operations. Last reviewed 2026-07-31.

Local-page evidence

Official geographic records support city identity and geography only. Venue, event, airport, route, staging, and curb-access details are verified separately where local sources are recorded and must still be checked for the actual trip date. A named venue does not imply affiliation, permission, preferred access, or reserved staging.

Proprietary booking statistics

A city statistic is eligible only when at least 10persisted records map to that city page’s canonical landing path. Quote ranges use the 25th–75th percentile of recorded USD quoted values. Booking lead time is the median number of days from request creation to the requested event date. Seasonal patterns use requested event months. Route pairs use city fields only and appear only after at least five repetitions.

Privacy and exclusions

Public aggregate files never contain names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, or free-text trip details. We do not publish vehicle-availability patterns, call or SMS questions, customer media, or “actual trip” examples until a verified source and rights process exists for those fields.

How records become publishable data

A website form submission must first persist successfully in the Bus 2 Ride lead database. The canonical landing path connects that request to a public page. Staff-entered quoted values are analyzed only when the currency and amount are valid. Event dates must follow the request date and fall inside a reasonable planning window before they can contribute to lead-time calculations. Empty, malformed, negative, or implausible values are excluded rather than repaired by assumption.

The public generator reads only the fields needed for the approved aggregates. It groups records by canonical city landing path, applies the thresholds above, and writes a separate public-safe file. Raw lead rows and contact details remain in the protected database. A page with insufficient data receives no local number; it does not inherit a statewide, national, or nearby-city statistic.

Calls, SMS, trip examples, and vehicle availability

Customer questions from calls or text messages can become useful FAQs only after a lawful, documented workflow removes personal information, groups repeated themes, and records the source period. Individual conversations are not presented as public testimonials or quoted without permission. Actual trip examples need the same treatment: broad itinerary facts may be useful, but private addresses, names, dates, and identifying combinations must be removed.

Vehicle availability is especially time-sensitive. A vehicle category requested in a form is not proof that the category was available, assigned, or operated. We will publish market availability patterns only after the booking workflow records a verified inventory outcome with a clear time period and enough observations. Until then, availability is confirmed only during live quote review.

Media rights and representation

Photos and short montages currently used for planning are labeled as representative category examples. They do not promise the pictured vehicle, claim a local office, or establish that Bus 2 Ride owns the depicted fleet. Customer, operator, and vehicle media can be labeled as real trip or owned-fleet evidence only when its origin, usage rights, location context, and relationship to the service have been documented. Generated imagery and photo montages are never described as live fleet walkthroughs.

Review, freshness, and corrections

Bus 2 Ride Editorial Operations reviews the methodology, generation output, source coverage, and public labels before release. The date shown on a page reflects the last documented review of that evidence layer, not a claim that every venue rule or road condition was checked that day. Local access rules, event schedules, airport procedures, construction, and operating requirements can change faster than a page update cycle.

When a source changes or a documented error is found, the affected claim should be corrected or removed, the aggregate regenerated when necessary, and the review date updated. Search performance alone is not evidence that a fact is correct. Corrections prioritize customer safety, accurate expectations, and useful booking decisions over preserving a ranking phrase.

Commercial terms

Historical figures and planning estimates are not live offers. Availability, vehicle, price, included charges, gratuity treatment, cancellation terms, overtime, route, and access details must be confirmed in the written quote and final agreement.
